Arthur
For twelve years, Arthur has helped children and families talk about
important issues — from asthma, to dyslexia, to the death of a pet. Now,
in its 13th season, the series once again takes on a difficult topic — cancer,
in Arthur "The Great MacGrady," which airs everyday the week of October 19-23.

These special episodes address an educational objective — Arthur and his friends learn what cancer is and how they, as children, can care for people they know who are diagnosed.

Champion cyclist and cancer survivor Lance Armstrong makes a special appearance to show Francine and the Elwood City residents how they can take a stand, or ride a bike, for cancer survivors.

For more information, visit Arthur’s website: pbskidsgo.org/Arthur.

KNPB has a limited number of LIVESTRONG wristbands (youth-sized) available from the Lance Armstrong Foundation. If you would like a wristband, contact KNPB membership@knpb.org.
